BCI are specialist investors and developers of Social Infrastructure with a strong focus on Care and Social Housing. We bridge the gap between investment and social infrastructure. Our team uses its years of experience and cross industry knowledge to combine commercial viability and a positive social impact. Our areas of focus include the Supported Living, Residential Care and Homelessness Sectors. There are currently 1.5 million individuals with Learning Disabilities in the UK (Source NHS) with an estimated 10,000 on waiting lists (Source mencap). In 2017 Local Authorities received 112,200 Homelessness applications with an analysis from Shelter data putting the national homelessness figure at 320,000. These figures exist because of a dearth of funding in these sectors and BCI work along with a number of counterparties to reduce these numbers.

We are led by an experienced team specialising across a broad spectrum of sectors including investments, care, social housing, developments, finance and real estate. The team capitalizes on its strong relationships with its various partners to deliver high quality housing stock.

 

Our Ethos

We have a strong social consciousness and believe we all have a responsibility to help the most vulnerable around us. With our founders very strongly rooted in support work. We aim to be part of the solution. We have seen first-hand that even the most differently abled individuals can live happy and fulfilling lives with the right care, support and resources. We foresee 2022 will again challenge us with austerity, low grants and insufficient funding we along with our operating partners would like to play its part in filling this funding void.
